Relic Master Cauldron Mug (Variant A)

“The binding of spirits to relic vessels is a delicate matter only to be pursued by the sufficiently trained and the sturdy of will. It requires more than simply sifting through the veil for a spirit willing to lend its power to the vessel.

Decades of research has illuminated the propensity of a properly-executed binding ritual to only attract those spirits (both of human and other origins) that might lend the bearer of the vessel greater fortitude, or perhaps an elevated disposition.

Conversely, those who rush through their studies, or – gods forbid – attempt to construct their own ritual outside university sanctions by following a misguided intuition or “calling”, may find that the entity they invite into their vessel is of another category entirely.

While the power with which those entities imbue their vessel-bearer may be immense, this humble author advises any student inclined towards such curiosity to think upon the Great Unwinding of 2E. 871, and to reconsider their actions.”
